A minority within the Armed Forces has unfortunately been unable to stomach Turkey’s unity. It was the [Gulen Movement] itself. This group has penetrated the Armed Forces and the police among other government agencies over the past 40 years. What is being perpetrated is a rebellion and treason. They will pay a heavy price for their treason to Turkey,” Minister ahmet davutoglu stated that the coup is a failed attack on democracy.
After a tense night, marked by violence casualties, and the sound of fighter jets, the president this morning ,said that the military coup is failing,and will be squashed as soon as possible. Many high ranked officals has been arrested, as well as other defecting military soldiers,
